The 33 scheduled days off reconcile as 13 statutory holiday days, 14 weekend days falling within the clusters, and 6 borrowed weekdays repaid through the makeup workdays listed in note 2.
  2. Makeup workdays are weekend dates designated as mandatory working days under the State Council schedule: Sun 04 Jan, Sat 14 Feb, Sat 28 Feb, Sat 09 May, Sun 20 Sep and Sat 10 Oct 2026. These dates are normal working days for payroll and attendance purposes.
  3. The 9-day Spring Festival break (15-23 Feb) is the longest scheduled on record. The layout depends on how weekends fall in the given year and may not repeat in future years.
