Notes & Sources

  1. Source: Bank of Thailand Notification No. 31/2568 (announced 05 Aug-25), financial institutions' and specialised financial institutions' holidays for 2026, which align with Thailand's national public holidays: bot.or.th. Government offices additionally observe the Royal Ploughing Ceremony and Khao Phansa Day, which are not financial-institution holidays and are not listed here.
  2. Visakha Bucha Day (actual Sun 31 May) and the combined King Bhumibol's Birthday, National Day and Father's Day (actual Sat 05 Dec) fall on a weekend and are substituted to the following Monday, shown above as 01 Jun and 07 Dec.
  3. 02 Jan is an additional special holiday declared by Cabinet to support tourism. The Buddhist holidays (Makha Bucha, Visakha Bucha, Asarnha Bucha) follow the lunar calendar, with dates set annually. Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha and Chinese New Year are observed only by the Islamic Bank and financial-institution branches in the southern provinces (Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, Satun, Songkhla), not nationwide.
