The Philippines observes 18 nationwide non-working days in 2026, of which 16 fall on weekdays. These comprise 10 regular holidays and 8 special non-working days; two further regular holidays for the Islamic Eid celebrations are declared separately.

  2. The Philippines distinguishes regular holidays from special (non-working) days. Both are non-working, but pay rules differ: a regular holiday carries full holiday pay, while a special (non-working) day follows a no-work, no-pay default unless a more favourable company policy or agreement applies. Days marked (2) above are special (non-working) days; the rest are regular holidays. Separately, the EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary (25 Feb, Wednesday) is a special working day - commemorated but an ordinary working day, so it is not listed above.
  3. Two further regular holidays, Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha, are declared by separate proclamations once their Islamic-calendar dates are determined by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos. They are not yet fixed for 2026 and are not listed above.
